I’m a writer, mostly short stories and novels, though I also write for blogs and I do a podcast as well. All of this is listed in my Projects page. Didn’t realize I had so many projects going on until I wrote it all down like that.

By day I’m a codemonkey at a Fortune 500 company, and I like to do stuff like throw this site together in an eight-hour Mountain-Dew-fueled codesprint. I like computers. I like science. In June of 2012 I became an actual Master of Science. I have a certificate and everything.

My big project right now is revising my novel, a young adult horror novel set in coastal California. I’m currently represented by the longsuffering Barry Goldblatt of Barry Goldblatt Literary, LLC, whom I often pacify with home-made cookies and jam. Baking: it’s science you can eat!
